A Legendary Piece of Glass Culture
The Cheech and Chong water pipe is one of the most celebrated pieces in the Famous Brandz lineup, and it is not hard to see why. Created to mark the 40th anniversary of the cult classic film Up in Smoke, this 12 inch bent neck bell beaker bong pays tribute to Cheech Marin — one half of the most beloved comedy duo in stoner culture history. Whether you are a devoted fan of the films or simply searching for a high-quality glass bong that combines pop-culture style with genuine everyday functionality, The Cheech delivers on every level. It arrives in an exclusive 40th anniversary collector’s box, making it as worthy of display on a shelf as it is of regular use on a table.

Premium Borosilicate Glass Construction
At the core of this Cheech and Chong water pipe is hand-blown borosilicate glass with a consistent wall thickness of 5mm throughout the entire piece. Borosilicate glass is the same material relied upon in laboratory glassware worldwide, prized for its resistance to thermal shock and its clarity. The result here is a pipe that can handle the heat of regular sessions without the risk of stress fractures, while its transparent walls let you watch the water and smoke interact in real time. The base diameter of 11.5cm provides a wide, stable footprint on any flat surface, significantly reducing the risk of accidental tipping. The overall height of 30cm makes this a substantial piece that commands attention without being impractical to store or handle.
The Bent Neck Design and Its Practical Benefits
The most immediately striking feature of this bong is the bent neck mouthpiece that gives the product its name. Rather than drawing straight up from the tube in the traditional fashion, the neck angles forward at a natural position, meaning you do not need to hunch over the pipe to form a seal. This ergonomic geometry makes for a noticeably more comfortable experience, particularly during longer sessions. The bent neck also serves a secondary practical purpose: it acts as a built-in splash guard, reducing the chance of water travelling up the neck and reaching your mouth. The mouthpiece diameter of 40mm is generous enough for a comfortable, secure seal without feeling awkward in use. The overall bell beaker silhouette — a wide, stable base tapering upward to the bent neck — is a tried-and-tested format that has earned its place as a classic for good reason.
Downstem Diffuser and Smooth Water Filtration
Smooth filtration is central to what makes this Cheech and Chong bong such a pleasure to use. The pipe comes equipped with a male 18.8mm to 14.5mm reducing diffuser downstem measuring 13.5cm in length. This diffuser breaks incoming smoke into smaller bubbles as it enters the water chamber, dramatically increasing the surface area in contact with the water and producing a cooler, smoother, less harsh draw. The joint angle is 60 degrees, ensuring the downstem sits at an optimal position within the bell beaker body. The female 18.8mm joint at the body of the pipe accepts the reducing diffuser downstem, which in turn accepts the included male 14.5mm bowl with handle.
If you are looking to upgrade your setup further, the GRAV 14mm 90 Degree Standard Ash Catcher is a compatible accessory worth considering to keep your water pipe cleaner for longer. For those interested in adding additional cooling and filtration, the Cylinder Pre-cooler with 6-Arm Tree Perc Grey by Blaze is another excellent accessory to explore.
