Description
Stemless Cross Perc Bong from the EDIT Collection
The Stemless Button Diffuser Cross Perc Bong is one of the standout pieces in the EDIT Collection, offering a refined dual-chamber smoking experience at an accessible price point of £29.95. Designed and quality-checked by the EDIT UK team, this stemless cross perc bong delivers multiple stages of filtration through its innovative percolator setup, resulting in cooler, cleaner, and noticeably smoother hits. Whether you are upgrading from a basic piece or adding a reliable daily driver to your collection, this bong offers genuine performance without compromising on style.
Dual-Chamber Design for Superior Filtration
At the heart of this waterpipe is a dual-chamber construction that puts filtration above everything else. As smoke is drawn into the lower chamber, the cross percolators force it to spread across a greater surface area, allowing the water to absorb heat and cool the smoke far more effectively than a single-chamber piece ever could. The filtered smoke is then pulled upward by natural suction into the second chamber, where the same filtration process begins again. The result is a hit that has been cleaned and cooled twice before it reaches your lips — a clear advantage over simpler bong designs. This double-percolation approach is particularly valued by those who find harsh or hot smoke uncomfortable, making this an ideal choice for longer, more relaxed sessions.
Multiple Cross Percolators Explained
The cross percolator is a tried-and-tested design in the world of glass waterpipes. Each perc features a cross-shaped diffuser that breaks smoke into smaller bubbles as it passes through the water. Smaller bubbles mean more total surface area in contact with the water, which directly translates to better cooling and filtration. This bong features multiple cross percolators working in tandem across its two chambers, compounding the benefits further. The stemless design removes the need for a removable downstem, keeping the airpath clean and reducing the number of components that could potentially be lost or broken. For fans of percolator bongs, the cross perc format offers a satisfying, bubbly draw that is hard to beat at this price.
Premium Borosilicate Glass Construction
This piece is crafted entirely from borosilicate glass — the industry standard for quality waterpipes. Unlike ordinary soda-lime glass, borosilicate contains boron trioxide, which dramatically reduces the material stresses caused by sudden changes in temperature. This makes the glass far less prone to cracking or shattering when exposed to heat during regular use. With a wall thickness of 4mm throughout, this bong feels reassuringly sturdy in the hand. The 12.5cm base diameter provides a stable footing on any flat surface, and the 40mm mouthpiece opening delivers a comfortable, unrestricted draw. Technical Specifications at a Glance
This bong stands 33cm tall, making it a manageable desktop piece that is neither too compact nor overly cumbersome. The joint is a female 14.5mm at a 90-degree angle, and the fixed stemless diffuser is built directly into the base of the piece. A male 14.5mm bowl slide is included, so you have everything you need to get started immediately. There are no ice notches or carb holes on this model, keeping the design streamlined and focused on delivering consistent percolated performance every time.
Keeping Your Bong Clean
Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the flavour quality and visual clarity of any glass bong. Residue can build up quickly in the chambers and around the percolators if the piece is not maintained. For a convenient and effective solution, consider picking up the Namaste Cleaning Wipes Pack 10 WIPES to keep your glass looking and performing its best between deeper cleans.
Pair It With a Compatible Ash Catcher
If you want to take filtration even further and keep your bong cleaner for longer, adding an ash catcher to your setup is a popular and practical upgrade. The Grav Labs 6in Upline Ash Catcher 45 Degree Red is a quality option worth considering for those who want to extend the life of their waterpipe and reduce the frequency of full cleans. Pairing an ash catcher with a percolator bong like this one can deliver a notably cleaner and more pleasant smoking experience overall.
