WeedStar Messias Illusion Ice: A Double Tree Perc Bong Built to Impress
The WeedStar Messias Illusion Ice 5mm Double Tree Perc Bong is a standout piece from WeedStar’s prestigious WS Series. Standing approximately 55cm tall with a classic piston-shaped body, this water pipe combines genuine artistic craftsmanship with serious smoking performance. Whether you are building a collection or simply want a reliable daily driver, this double tree perc bong delivers a smooth, filtered experience that rivals pieces costing considerably more. At £49.95, it represents exceptional value for anyone who takes their sessions seriously.
Dual 5-Arm Tree Percolators: Superior Filtration
The defining feature of this bong is its pair of 5-arm tree percolators, positioned below the main chamber. Each arm splits smoke into multiple streams, driving it through the water and dramatically increasing the surface area that is cooled and filtered before the vapour reaches your lungs. The result is a noticeably cleaner, cooler draw compared to a single-chamber piece. The double percolator setup is especially welcome during longer sessions, where harsh or hot smoke quickly becomes uncomfortable. If you enjoy percolator-driven filtration, the Black Leaf – 24 Arm Tree Percolator Glass Bong GPER-048-35 offers an even more intensive filtration experience worth considering, while the Grace Glass Cylinder Bong with 11 Arm Tree Perc Green provides a stylish mid-range alternative.
Ice Notch for Two-Stage Cooling
Located on the middle neck, the integrated ice notch allows you to load ice cubes directly into the tube. As smoke rises through the dual tree percolators and into the neck, it passes over the ice, dropping its temperature further before it ever reaches your mouth. This two-stage cooling process — water filtration followed by ice chill — is one of the biggest reasons the Messias Illusion Ice consistently stands out in the WS Series. The combination makes it an ideal choice for smokers who find hot smoke harsh on the throat.
Artistic Illusion Glass Work and Coloured Detailing
WeedStar has always balanced functionality with visual appeal, and the Messias Illusion Ice is a clear example of that philosophy. The cylinder beneath the mouthpiece is decorated with bubble inclusions that create a mesmerising illusion effect — the feature that gives this piece its name. The mouthpiece features an elegantly twisted white rim that adds a refined, artistic touch, elevating it well beyond a purely utilitarian tool. The glass inclusions on the upper neck also serve a practical purpose, improving your grip so the bong sits securely in hand during use. This is functional glass art in every sense.
Materials, Specifications and Build Quality
The Messias Illusion Ice is constructed throughout from clear borosilicate glass at a consistent 5mm thickness, striking a sensible balance between lightweight handling and genuine durability. The wide beaker base provides a low centre of gravity, making it far more stable than straight-tube designs and much less prone to accidental tipping. The 29.2mm joint is a solid, tank-cut connection that locks your bowl or accessories in place without any wobble. At approximately 55cm in height, the tube length is sufficient for effective smoke cooling without becoming awkward to handle. The clear finish lets you observe the percolators and chambers in action at all times, which is both satisfying and useful for monitoring cleanliness.

Keeping Your Bong at Its Best
To maintain peak performance from the dual tree percolators, regular cleaning is strongly recommended. Resin build-up inside the percolator arms restricts airflow and diminishes draw quality over time. Namaste Cleaning Wipes Pack 10 WIPES are a convenient option for quick wipe-downs of exterior surfaces and accessible areas, helping you keep this piece looking and performing its best between deeper cleans.
Who Is This Bong For?
