Firefly 2 Plus Black Portable Convection Vaporizer

Description

Firefly 2 Plus Black Portable Convection Vaporizer Overview

The Firefly 2 Plus Black portable convection vaporizer is one of the most refined on-demand vaporizers available in the UK market today. Designed for those who demand exceptional flavour and rapid response, the Firefly 2+ in its striking matte black finish brings together premium engineering and sleek aesthetics into a single, pocketable device. Whether you are a seasoned enthusiast or stepping up from a basic device, the Firefly 2 Plus Black delivers a session experience that rivals much larger tabletop units — all in a portable, stylish package priced at £175.00.

On-Demand Convection Heating

At the heart of the Firefly 2 Plus Black is its signature on-demand convection heating system. Unlike conduction vaporizers that sit on a hot surface continuously, the Firefly 2+ uses hot air to pass through your material only when you draw. This means your herbs or concentrates are never scorched between puffs, preserving the full terpene and flavour profile with every single draw. The device reaches your chosen temperature in approximately 3 seconds, making it one of the fastest-responding portable convection vaporizers on the market. There is no lengthy warm-up ritual — simply hold the touch-sensitive pads, inhale, and enjoy.

Improved Airflow and Smoother Draws

Firefly engineered the 2+ with 33% more airflow compared to the original Firefly 2. The result is noticeably smoother, cooler draws that are easier on the throat without sacrificing vapour density. The redesigned airflow path works in harmony with the borosilicate glass vapour pathway, ensuring that nothing but clean, pure vapour reaches your lips. If you have ever found other portable vaporizers too harsh or restrictive, the Firefly 2 Plus Black is worth serious consideration.

Precise Temperature Control

The Firefly 2 Plus Black offers a temperature range spanning 200°F to 500°F (93°C to 260°C). This wide range gives you full control over your experience — lower temperatures for delicate, flavour-forward vapour, and higher settings for thicker, more potent clouds. Temperature adjustments can be made directly on the device or through the Firefly companion smartphone app, which is available for both iOS and Android. The app also provides usage insights and firmware update notifications, keeping your device performing at its best over time.

Premium Build Quality and Materials

The Firefly 2 Plus Black is built around a lightweight magnesium alloy body that feels solid and durable without adding unnecessary weight to your pocket or bag. The interior vapour path is constructed from borosilicate glass — the same material used in laboratory equipment — which is prized for its chemical inertness and heat resistance. This means no plastic taste, no off-gassing, and no contamination of your vapour. The black finish is clean and understated, making this device equally at home in a professional setting as it is on an outdoor adventure.

If you are interested in exploring other colour options from the same range, take a look at the Firefly 2 Plus Blue Portable Convection Vaporizer or the Firefly 2 Plus Jet Black Portable Convection Vaporizer for alternatives.

Battery Performance and Charging

The Firefly 2+ features an improved lithium-ion battery that is both rechargeable and user-replaceable — a significant advantage over sealed competitor devices. If your battery degrades over time, you can simply swap it out rather than replacing the entire unit. Charging is fast: the battery reaches 80% capacity in just 20 minutes and achieves a full charge in 45 minutes via the included USB 3.0 cable and charging dock. This makes the Firefly 2 Plus Black an excellent travel companion, as a quick top-up before heading out is all you need.

Versatile Use Cases

The Firefly 2 Plus Black is designed to handle both dry herbs and concentrates. The device comes with concentrate pads included in the box, allowing you to switch seamlessly between material types without purchasing additional accessories. Whether you prefer dry herb sessions at lower temperatures or concentrate use at higher heat settings, this device accommodates both with ease. For those interested in dedicated concentrate options, the Dr. Dabber Boost EVO Eclipse Vaporiser is another strong choice available in the store.

For users who want a simpler, more compact everyday carry alternative, the PAX Mini Vaporizer – Compact Dry Herb Vape is also available and worth comparing.
