Weed Star Messia Illusion Ice 5mm Glass Bong

Description

Introducing the Weed Star Messia Illusion Ice 5mm Glass Bong

The Weed Star Messia Illusion Ice is a standout Weed Star percolator bong that punches well above its price point. Crafted from thick 5mm borosilicate glass and standing an impressive 60cm tall, this piece is designed for smokers who want serious filtration, a comfortable draw, and a bong that looks as good on the shelf as it performs in the session. Whether you are a daily smoker or someone building a quality glass collection, the Messia Illusion Ice delivers a premium experience at a very accessible £29.95.

5-Arm Double Tree Percolator: Filtration You Can Feel

The headline feature of the Messia Illusion Ice is its 5-arm double tree percolator chamber. Percolators work by breaking your smoke into dozens of smaller bubbles as it passes through water, dramatically increasing the surface area exposed to the liquid. The result is smoke that is filtered, cooled, and stripped of much of its harshness before it ever reaches your lungs. With a double tree design, you effectively get two stages of percolation in a single piece, meaning every draw is noticeably smoother and more enjoyable than a standard straight tube bong could offer at a comparable price. The satisfying bubble action is also a pleasure to watch, making each session a multi-sensory experience.

If you enjoy percolator-style filtration, you may also want to explore the Amsterdam 8-Arm Tree Perc Bong – Dope Bros by Grace Glass for an alternative tree perc configuration at a higher arm count.

Built to Last: 5mm Borosilicate Glass

One of the most important considerations when buying a bong is glass quality, and the Messia Illusion Ice does not cut corners. At 5mm wall thickness throughout, this is a robust and solid piece that resists everyday knocks and bumps far better than thinner glass tubes. Borosilicate glass is the industry standard for quality water pipes because of its resistance to thermal shock — it expands and contracts very little with temperature changes, meaning it can handle repeated heating and cooling without cracking. The sandblasted Weed Star decal adds a tactile, frosted finish to the branding detail, giving the bong a premium aesthetic without relying on applied stickers or painted logos that can peel over time.

Dimensions and Specifications

Every measurement on the Messia Illusion Ice has been considered to create an ergonomic and effective smoking tool. Here is a full breakdown of the key specs:

– Height: 60cm
– Glass thickness: 5mm
– Diameter: 50mm
– Downstem: 18.8 to 18.8mm diffuser downstem, 10cm length
– Bowl: 18.8mm WSP Standard Pure-Bowl

The 50mm diameter base and tube provide a stable, well-balanced platform, reducing the risk of tip-overs on a flat surface. The 60cm height gives you plenty of smoke column above the water level, allowing the vapour to cool further before inhalation. The 18.8mm joint size is a widely used standard, meaning you have a broad range of aftermarket accessories available if you wish to upgrade or customise your setup in the future.

Accessorising Your Weed Star Percolator Bong

One of the great advantages of the Messia Illusion Ice using an 18.8mm joint system is the sheer variety of compatible accessories on the market. If you ever want to expand your experience, a cooling attachment is a natural next step — the Cooling Glycerin Attachment 19mm Green Grav Labs is designed to sit inline and freeze the smoke even further before it hits the percolator, creating an exceptionally cool draw. For those exploring dab setups alongside flower use, the 50mm XXL Thermal Quartz Banger Carb Cap Set 14mm Female is a worthwhile companion piece for a secondary rig, and the WeedStar Steamboat Straight Tube Stemless Bong Black pairs nicely as another piece from the same Weed Star brand family if you want a stemless alternative for your collection.

The Sandblasted Illusion Decal

The name ‘Illusion Ice’ refers in part to the sandblasted visual detail applied to the glass. Sandblasting creates a frosted, matte texture on the surface of the glass that catches and scatters light in an appealing way, giving the bong its distinctive icy visual quality. Unlike printed or applied decals, sandblasted artwork is permanent and will not fade, chip, or peel with regular cleaning. It is a subtle but meaningful quality touch that distinguishes the Messia Illusion Ice from budget alternatives that rely purely on coloured glass or sticker branding.

Who Is This Bong For

The double tree percolator makes it particularly well-suited to those who prioritise smooth, filtered smoke over raw volume. Its generous 60cm height also appeals to users who prefer a more relaxed, upright smoking posture. At £29.95, it represents genuinely strong value for a 5mm thick, percolated glass bong from a recognised brand.
